Boundary of Dissolution - Curation vs. Risk
As recently suggested by the Provokerium, Presenter The Uncarried Night: The Met Gala, by and through its refiner will move this Curatorium before the Curating Tastekeeper Provoker Discomfort at the Sensaciato Realm of Discord, 100, for a Boundary of Dissolution regarding the Aesthertions of Inbaciato brought against them in the refined Contention focusing only on the unpredictability risk of the event.
Baciolato C I.3 stipulates "Anything too perfect begins to die". The Met has proven time and time again its willingness to take risks. Risk when it comes to themes, ideas, concepts. It goes as far as taking a risk on the carpet itself. People expect the unexpected.
There is no way to know what people will wear as there is no leak. That alone creates unpredictability. It creates excitement, joy. That's also one of the reasons why people tune in every year and cannot wait to see the event unfold.
For that reason alone, the Curatorium should endorse the Boundary of Dissolution on Grievance 2 and closes it in full.
Curation vs. Risk - Opposition Filed by Inbaciato
Baciolato C I.3 stipulates "Anything too perfect begins to die". Indeed, it's dying. There's no such thing as unpredictability when it comes to the gala as the 'unexpected' is very much 'expected'. People may not know exactly what will be worn, but can we really qualify it as a surprise? Definitely not.
Memory would like to remind the Memorium that it never forgets. It saw what was, remembers it before looking at what is. As much as the event pretends to be unpredictable when it comes to garments, we remember the same designer names going around. We remember seeing the same silhouettes that are present this year. We remember the lack of creativity. This is not unpredictability.
For the above reason, the Boundary of Dissolution should be disallowed and closed in full.
Curation vs. Risk - Opposition Filed by Sensaciato
Baciolato C I.3 stipulates "Anything too perfect begins to die". As the event is aware of the risks of being stagnant and sterile, unpredictability became the path. Avoiding safe choices has been proven on the red carpet. No outfit feels safe. Drama, spectacle became the standards. They were already the standards, but they have been emphasized.
There is no such thing as being safe. Safe is a perception, not reality. Everything comes with risks and The Met in itself is a risk. It's known for precise reasons. Those alone create unpredictability. How can one argue something being expected and unexpected at once? If an event is expected, but an outfit in it is not, it becomes unexpected. Therefore, unpredictable.
For the following reasons, we request the Provokerium endorses the Boundary of Dissolution and closes it in full.
Awaiting Response
Provoker Discomfort will evaluate the request within a timely mannner.
